Welcome to Carr House Rescue Centre

We are a small rescue centre that provides a safe haven for rescue dogs of all ages. Whilst in our care every dog receives the very best in medical care, attention and love whilst we search for loving families to re-home the dogs. We are constantly seeking new loving homes for our rescue dogs. If you feel that you could provide a home for one of our dogs, you can either give us a call on 01482 701738 or pop into our centre. No appointment is necessary for viewing's. We seek a minimum donation of £40 for re-homing our dogs.

Former Carr House Rescue Dog wins at Discover Dogs Event

Allow us to introduce you to Jezz, a rescue dog that we rehomed to Carole Sandry of Welwick in 2002. He was at that time very nervous, but the care and attention Carole has given him, and the training from ‘Ryehill Dog Training Centre’ has turned him into a “top” dog. He won “Best Rescue Dog 2006”, “Best in Show” and “Companion Dog 2006” at the Kennel Club's, Discover Dogs event at Earls Court in London. He is registered with the Kennel Club for obedience and a registered ‘pat’ dog, who visits infirm, elderly people to lighten their lives.

Jezz

Jezz has also recently won “Dog of the Year” at Ryehil Dog Training Centre.

One last thing ......

Whilst we are happy to provide you with images of the dogs we have at our centre, it is important that you visit us, so you can get a better idea of the dogs temperament and your compatibility with your preferred dog.

Information about the dogs we seek homes for, is always very vague and is based on observations whilst the dog is in our kennels. Many dogs find kennels stressful and consequently they do not give a good impression when you visit. We would appreciate your understanding this, and persevering with your potential pet, You can take them out into our fields and gain their trust.
